Haunted Lunacy Poetry

Embrace the sadness, / fall into its loving arms, / alone together.

Elegant naked bodies dancing beneath the  ethereal moon. Demons lurk in shadowy  realms, midnight approaches  as devils swoon. They sway and chant, at the haunted sky, singing wistfully the witches lullaby.

Mistress adorned with  succubus wings, from poison lips,  whisper devilish things. In your arms, wrapped oh so tight, Please drag my heart  to hell tonight.

Suffering inside, / deaf ears they will never hear, / screaming from the dark.

A desperate ghost, / I scream into the darkness, / deaf ears do prevail.

This ghost that I am, / invisible and alone, / an unloved phantom.

No arms to hold me, / this unlovable man i am, / drown me in my tears.

Slowly, quietly, one by one the demons come, to whisper nightmares into my ears, the poison thoughts  that leave me numb. Oh how they creep so quietly  in the dark, with claws sharp  as daggers to rip me apart. I beg and I plead, but they won’t  leave me alone, for each night they visit, my madness their home.

The ominous sound of  butterfly wings, fluttering amidst this haunted gloom. Once alive, now beautiful dead things, these tiny ghosts that once bid us swoon. Their tomb, this desolate  tortured heart, a curse  I bear, but so despise. Eternally doomed to play my part, a cemetery for  butterflies.

I despise myself, / trapped within this wretched brain, / longing for the dark.
