Alone in the darkness, the devil rends my soul.
Whispering silent words of destruction.
An angel appears in the distance and brings to me her light . The devil starts to tremble for he knows I’ll be alright . She reaches out her hand and wipes away my tears. And carries me to heaven on wings that calm my fears.

Slowly, quietly, one by one the demons come, to whisper nightmares into my ears, the poison thoughts  that leave me numb. Oh how they creep so quietly  in the dark, with claws sharp  as daggers to rip me apart. I beg and I plead, but they won’t  leave me alone, for each night they visit, my madness their home.
